1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy is issued by Saving Mantra ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of the Saving Mantra Client Portal. We act as the data controller in respect of personal data you provide while creating an account or using our services.
2. Information We Collect
- Account data — full name, email, mobile number, country, city, business name, hashed password.
- KYC & service data — PAN, GSTIN, Aadhaar (where lawfully required), business documents and any other information you upload to fulfil a service.
- Transaction data — orders placed, invoices, payment status (we do not store full card/UPI credentials — those are held by our PCI-compliant payment gateway).
- Usage data — IP address, browser, device type, pages visited, OTP request logs, audit trails.
- Communications — emails, WhatsApp messages and chat transcripts you exchange with us or our partners through the Platform.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and secure your account, including OTP verification and login.
- To deliver, support and bill the services you order.
- To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
- To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse or security incidents.
- To improve the Platform and to send service-related notifications.
- To send marketing communications, only where you have opted in — you can opt out at any time.
4. Sharing Your Information
We share your data only as needed to deliver your services and only with parties bound by confidentiality. These include:
- Empanelled service partners and professionals fulfilling your specific service request.
- Government portals (MCA, GSTN, Income Tax, DGFT, etc.) where filings are required.
- Authorised payment gateways and banks to process transactions.
- Cloud hosting, email and analytics providers acting as our processors.
- Law enforcement or regulators where required by law or valid legal process.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties for advertising.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secured servers, with encrypted database connections and access restricted to authorised personnel. Passwords are stored as one-way salted hashes. We use TLS for all data in transit and follow industry-standard security practices.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for such additional periods as are required to comply with statutory recordkeeping obligations (for example, the Income Tax Act, the Companies Act and the GST law). When no longer required, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
7. Your Rights
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — request deletion of data we are not required to retain.
- Withdrawal of consent — opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- Grievance — raise concerns with our Grievance Officer at grievance@savingmantra.com.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, remember session preferences and protect against CSRF. We may also use analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies via your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break parts of the Platform.
9. Children
The Platform is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
10. International Transfers
Where data is stored or processed outside India by our hosting or service providers, we ensure appropriate contractual safeguards are in place.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice on the Platform.
